The Parent Information Center of The Executive Office of Education provides School District Profiles to make important information available to all interested citizens in Massachusetts.  To order reports through the mail, call 1-800-297-0002 or to get an instant report, visit their web site at http://www.doe.mass.edu

The report covers: Community Characteristics, Choice, District Characteristics, Per Pupil Expenditures. Selected District Allocations, Student Performance, Violence, Drug & Alcohol Use Prevention Programs, Teacher Profile and Notes on the District.  The Executive Office of Education strongly recommends that parents visit the school and talk to its principal, the teachers and parents of students when comparing schools.

Westborough High School is a four year comprehensive public high school serving 720+ students.  The average class size is 20+.  There are four marking terms with midyear and final examinations.  The school fields 23 varsity teams which have won numerous county championships.  Students have received recognition and honors for extra curricular achievements including Academic Decathlon, Art, Computer Science, Drama, Mathematics and Music competitions. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges.

Hopkinton has a new High School and Hopkinton Schools have been cited as an “overperforming” district in a study of May, 2000, MCAS test scores by Dr. Robert Gaudet of the University of Massachusetts. Hopkinton's schools went beyond expectations to have student performance at a higher level than would have been predicted.  Hopkinton's test scores at grades 4 and 10 exceeded that predicted by demographics in Gaudet's February, 2001 report, which was recently released to Superintendents at a Massachusetts Superintendents Association meeting July 18 - 20, 2001.

Shrewsbury opened a new High School in September of 2002,
